Importing your Media Files in video editor app

Motionshows :- Video editor app allows you to import image, audio and video file types into your video project.

Whether you choose to create a Motionshow with a mixture of images and video clips or using video clips and images alone, you can easily import your files using the import icons in the top right hand corner of the user interface.

Managing your Media Files in video editor app

Motionshows provides an easy to use media library management system that neatly organizes all your media into three areas; Images, Audio and Video Areas.

Image Media Area

Once you import images either from your computer, social media or via the image gallery, your images will appear in the image area of the media library. From here you can preview your images and then drag them into the video timeline below in video editor app.

Remember that the accepted image types are .Jpg and .Png files.

Audio Media Area

After you have imported your chosen audio files either from your computer or the built-in Music Library, your audio track/s will be added to the Audio area of the media library. Audio tracks from here can be dragged down to the audio bar in the timeline.

Remember that the accepted audio type is mp3 files.

Video Media Area

Once you have imported your chosen video files either from your computer or the built-in Video Clip Library, your video clip/s will be added to the Video area of the media library. Video tracks from here can be dragged down to the timeline.

Remember that the accepted video type are mp4 files.

This section is covered more extensively in the ‘Understanding the Basics‘ section of this support site however once all your media files are imported and arranged in the Media Library of this video editor app, you then need to simply click on your media file and drag it to the timeline below .

Remember that image and video clip files are dragged to the top section of the timeline while audio files are dragged to the lower section of the timeline.
